That's what I swore to do; it was a best friend pact and there was no going back on it. Worse, I already knew how I would begin. The Heartbreaker Agreement was in motion the moment I said, 'I swear to be a heartbreaker.' If only I had really understood the meaning of those words and how they would affect me.
