He did everything he could, but now he is on the bridge with a pistol loaded with one bullet, he knew that he will die one way or another, he put his pistol under his chin ready to pull the trigger, but a bright light came from the deck of the ship and he lost consciousness. These Sirens attacked and destroyed Jacob's village, killing everyone he held dear to him at the time. The reason for this attack is vague, not even Jacob fully knows why the Sirens attacked his village, except for the fact that his father did something to anger the Sirens.
