As an aspiring writer, it's difficult not to look at stories you love and wonder 'What if?' I have notice how the Joker's origin in The Killing Joke and the Joker movie (2019) both stories take place during the 1980s. But what if it took place today? That's what I try to answer! In this original work I explore how a complex character like the Joker could emerge and be influence by current social problems. It's a romantic, and specially mysterious short story that I wish one day could help me make it to DC as a comic book writer, and if I don't, at least I enjoyed writing it, and I hope you enjoy reading it!
Disclaimer: This story is an original idea, of course I reference moments from DC comics and I borrow their characters to tell the story (After all, It's a fan fiction), but each character belongs to the respective owners.

What would happen if the Joker turned a four year old girl into a loyal and merciless killer? Joker meets a little girl on the street and she asks if he will be her daddy. He quickly dreams up a scheme to cause chaos with the little ragamuffin. However, despite his attempts to make the girl the perfect murderer, she is too sweet and giggly to focus on anything he tells her and ends up sidetracking him and making him laugh. This is my own personal version of how our lovable Dr. Harleen Quinzel fell in love with the psychopathic clown known as The Joker. This will be a dark story. I mean, it is about Joker and his story isn't a pretty one. There will be dark, mature themes in this book. It is not for the faint of heart. That being said, if you are not comfortable with this, then skip those parts. I will have them marked, and I will leave subtle hint, so you get the basic gist of what happened. I do not own any of these characters or the various original stories!! I just made my own remake of it. All rights go to the DC Universe and the creators of these awesome people.
