Cherry's.

I've always loved cherry's.

The small delectable fruit, red as blood, sweet as nectar, but deadly as can be.

For inside of this small fruit is an even smaller pit.

We all know we're not supposed to eat the pit, but do any of us really know the reason why?

The reason we usually think of is 'we can't eat cherry pits because they're too hard'.

Wrong.

Well..not entirely wrong the real reason you shouldn't eat cherry pits is because they have a small amount of toxin in them and when consumed it can and most likely will kill you.

What a beautiful fact of life.
