"Once he's finished, he re-zips the onesie up and envelops me in a tight embrace. "I will never allow anyone to even lay a finger on you ever again," he states. He allows me to rest in his chest, curled up like a small cat of some sort. My heart races, and Gundham and I maintain eye contact for a minute or two. Time is messed up when I'm around him.

His name is Gundham Tanaka, and he is as eccentric as they come. However, Yaeko is flirtatious by nature and sees teasing him as a game.
So that's what happens. They begin a game to make each other flustered by doing small teasing acts against each other, yet they promised to end the game if any feelings begin to arise.
