She sighed and inhaled the cold air of the dark room, snuggling under her covers. The only light illuminating the room was the light from the TV. Everything was going smoothly, until she heard footsteps approaching from the hallway leading to her room. Her room was at the extreme of the hallway. The footsteps stopped right in front of her door-- then a knock on the door could be heard. "Ani" she heard a voice from outside call That was the day Her life changed forever.
