yae amaterasu had always been kind, at least she tried to be. around everyone else, she made it her mission to spread love to others. she had "a good deed a day" as her life motto because of how her mother would always tell her to be kind to everyone, it didn't cost a penny. despite all the bad things that happened to her life, she grasped on to her mother's last words before they got separated- be kind always, my child, the future will be kind to you, too.

hanemiya kazutora didn't have a good life- he was arrested at a young age  and lived miserably since then to the point he blamed everything to others in fear of what the future holds for him. he craved for love and affection, something that people seemed to not give him because of his dark past. 

when their paths crossed, kazutora couldn't believe his eyes- could someone as kind as amaterasu actually be paying attention to him and dismissing his past mistakes? slowly, although surely, he found himself melting into the kindness that the girl showed, making him look forward to the bright future that she would always talk about.
