In fact, the club belongs to no one other than the leader of Mexico's biggest criminal organisations. 

Santiago Hernández is that leader and owner of the club. After a few encounters with Mia, for some reason he feels drawn to her and can't quite keep away. 

They never expected how close they would become given their initial bickers towards each other, and especially how she wanted nothing to do with a criminal. But who could resist a man like Santiago? 

Yet it's not all a garden of roses when one is associated with Santiago and Mia happens to learn that the hard way. Once her past catches up with her - the past she tried so hard to get over - things don't get any easier and he learns a few things about her he didn't know.
