Poetry is more than this. It is the outlet of a poet. A chance to use their wisdom and spread their thoughts or beliefs. It is a song with out the instruments. It takes away the sounds and brings light to lyrics that are over looked when the melody is present. Poetry is a gift. wrapped by the Poet and given to the audience. The blessed are the ones who can piece together the Poet's message and listen to the wisdom given.

It is said Poets have the greatest wisdom. They have the gift to look around them and see everything for the truth that it is. Some poets can find the beauty in death and some can find the horror in pleasures. We open our eyes and see the truth and all we can do is put it in a poem and hope to open their eyes before it's too late.
