The two aren't necessarily close, but after Tony is kidnapped they both seem to realize how important they are to each other. Extended Summary - Stephanie Aiken was was born into a family of scientists, but only a few months after her birthday there was a fire. Her parents, Eric and Lillian Aiken, died and baby Stephanie went missing for 7 years. She was presumed dead, until found and handed over to a family very close to the Aikens. The Starks. Tony was shocked to find out he was now legal guardian of a child, but after some convincing from Pepper, his trusty assistant, he took her in as his own. Stephanie never really spoke, she was closed off and didn't like physical contact and Tony was okay with that. Less work for him.
