Falina Gatti was born Blessed. Not by a priest or anyone like that, but by the Egyptian deity, Bastet. And because she is Blessed, she has access to a few supernatural abilities. However, being Blessed isn't all it's cracked up to be. Like all the Blessed that came before her, Falina must find a partner and perform the Rites of the Blessed by the time she turns twenty-one or she will become one of the Cursed. Cursed to lose the abilities Bastet gifted her, and eventually, her humanity. As the owner of a prosperous shop in her large village, Falina is highly sought after as a wife. Finding her partner should be easy. But the girl Blessed by Bastet wants nothing to do with any of them. Despite her tenacious vexation for her suitors, Falina's parents demand she find her other half and perform the Rites of the Blessed. Taking matters into her own hands, Falina tasks her suitors with a quest: They have one week to find and bring to her - alive and unharmed - the notoriously astute village cat that has never been touched by human hands. The one who could perform such a task would be her partner. The catch? Falina herself is the cat, and she has no intention of getting caught. **This is an ONGOING story**

Ayn is a witch with healing powers. Shapeshifters have killed her parents and the only animals she cannot speak with are wolves. When she graduates from the Teaching Clan and finds out that she has to cross the River and live in the Wolves' Mountains for one year, she is less than amused. Kari, first-born shapeshifter Alpha, almost lost his wolf after the death of his mate. He could rise again and become the pack leader if only he would complete his training ...and find another suitable Luna. When he realizes that his second chance is his mother's guest, a daydreaming stubborn witch from across the River, he is less than amused. The bond may be a strong force, but can a witch walk the Wolves' Way and face the dangers it is paved with? **** "I need to stop..." I sigh, catching her wrist before her fingers reach the back of my neck, and I untangle her arm from me. She lingers on the recliner but now there is a big gap between our bodies. The warmth she left on my skin is quickly dissipating in the spring night. "Fine." Ayn stands and searches my eyes. Her scowl has my wolf whimper in submission and makes me curse my self-imposed hard line. "I am going to need your hoodie," she orders, stretching her hand out to me. "What?" I exclaim, briefly shocked by both the tone and the content of her words. My hands however are already executing her command, unzipping my jacket. "The last time I was able to sleep, I was covered with your hoodie. Your scent is comforting." She states it plainly as if it would be an obvious and broadly known fact. Like the Earth being round. Like two being a prime number. #1 in Healer - December 2021 #7 in Lycan - December 2022 ~95 000 words Cover photo by Jr Korpa via Unsplash Cover photo by Marc-Olivier Jodoin via Unsplash hi
