"Well, Ricardo, I feel like there's not much else to say at the moment.  Thanks for listening to me ramble."  I rise from my seat on the ground and dust the stray blades of grass off my jeans.  Before I can fully turn around to leave, I hear shuffling behind me.  And then a gravelly voice rings out into the dewy morning.  

"Who the fuck are you, and why are you talking to my father's grave?"  

Well, fuck.  

I have no idea what I'm going to answer with, so I take my time turning around to face the stranger whose father's grave I temporarily appropriated.  When I finally finish my 180, any hope I have at spewing out a halfway-decent-sounding answer swirls down the figurative drain.  Because not only is this stranger a professional baseball player for one of my hometown's teams, but he is also quite possibly the most devastatingly beautiful man I've ever laid my eyes on.
