When the daughter of a well known HYDRA operative mutates during a terrorist attack in Bogota, she is thrown into a world that only has two outcomes; it would either chew her up and spit her out or she would become more powerful than anyone could have predicted. There could be no in between.

Project: TESLA -- The idea for the Project came into its planning stage two weeks after Tessa mutated and gained the ability to control electrical pulses, whether in the clouds during a storm, within the lines that zigzagged for miles within the Siberian facility or even the electrical signals within the brain.

Under the tutelage of The Winter Soldier, she mastered control of her body, skills to fight without the powers she could wield and the use of any weapon she could get her hands on. For a time, life was nothing but learning and a blossoming friendship with the man who had no real name.

Until he did. Then everything began to change.
