"Ivy...I could be your doomsday." His golden hues in his eyes, tears daring to break free.
I couldn't say a word. Watching the sea beat into the shore mercilessly, a storm coming in. His hands in mine, his pleading eyes staring into my lifeless, heartbroken green eyes.
"Don't go, please. Stay with me."
I wanted to stay, but I have a life back home. I have friends, my dog, I can't leave them behind. "I'm sorry." I whisper and let go of his hands. The wind pushing my red hair in every which direction. As if on cue, the rainfall takes over. Drenching us as we stood in place.
"Ivy, please!" He pleaded. "I'll do anything, please." He cupped my face in his hands. Tears free falling down his perfect face. The tears has already stained my face, my lip quivering from the cold rain and my heartbreaking for the fact that I have to leave.
"I just can't leave my life behind, my dog. I-" Before I could finish, he placed his lips softly on mine. "Let's make a new life. I can have Bo shipped here, first class, everything. Just please, don't leave me."
Am I really considering uprooting my entire life across the globe to be with someone I've fallen madly in love with?
