I love Voltron and all, but I really wonder how Lance and Keith's enemy-friends(-more??) relationship would have grown if they had stayed on earth. I actually dropped this fic a long time ago but decided to pick it back up.

Lance and Keith are practically rivals, at least, according to Lance. Keith could really care less about the boy, but his mentor, Shiro, wants him to reach out. Keith is hesitant at first to make new friends, as he's never been very good at it, but once he does he realizes it might just be the best decision he'd ever make.

Hunk and Pidge went to a different planet to help people, and so did Coran and Allura. Shiro, Keith and Lance go on another mission to a planet where no one lives. They need to find a special living plant on the planet to make the Cryogenic Pods work properly again. Shiro choose the two boys because they always fought, but he hopes they won't now. He is super smart and has a problem with getting bullied and beaten up especially by a named Lotor and his group of friends. He has anger issues but can't even use them to protect himself. He never wants to be mean to anyone and his parents spoil him since they are rich but the down part is that there never home and he has to constantly take care of them with his older sister. When the anniversary of Allura's passing came around he decided that was the best time to reconnect but who would've thought that the stars refused to align when Keith was found injured and unconscious with a beautiful stranger by his side. Will Lance ever find out if Keith still fancies him like before? Why was Keith injured and who is this stranger who won't leave his side? (I know this fandom is long gone but I rewatched Voltron several weeks ago before they removed it off Netflix. I forgot how much I loved it and how we were deprived of Keith and Lance ever being together so I decided to create this story.
