Jones A. Jameson is a boy of strong character. He, as plenty others would if placed in his shoes, is near--bitter. Traumatic experiences, such as living to see the end of the world as we all knew it to be, could do that to someone. He lost those close to him, was brutely forced into isolation, just to be forced out of it. He quite literally despised the idea of finding other people amongst his solitude and the reckage of the world, pressumably he believed-- no-- he k n e w that it was imposible.
