Hazel is a closed book; you only have to look at her to know that.
As soon as she steps foot into Crow Hurst School, she’s greeted with a fresh start; a chance to create a new life for herself. Hazel is convinced in order to stay a closed book she needs to keep herself to herself, and the cold mask she wears makes that easy for her, until she manages to piss of Dylan- the town’s very own asshole.
Dylan is the type of person you stay away from at all costs. You don’t sit next to him, you don’t try befriending him and you certainly do not try to belittle him in front of the entire class, on your first day.
Hazel can’t climb out of the hole she dug for herself, and instead of surrendering and succumbing to whatever Dylan has in store for her, she continues to test him- truth is, she likes the thrill.
Elliot Jensen and Elliot Fintry have a lot in common. They share the same name, the same house, the same school, oh and they hate each other but, as they will quickly learn, there is a fine line between love and hate.
