Dipper made a deal at a very young age with a certain demon. 

Dipper's parents left him with his Stan at the age of 5. Dipper was filled with sorrow, not as much as Bill though. He found someone that would be with him. Though Dipper thought that day they met was a dream. Bill didn't realize that the boy's thoughts had a great affect on his stability. He broke off into darkness hoping Dipper will remember him one day and free his psychical form. 

At the age of 12 Dipper and his sister went to gravity falls for the very first time. Or so they thought.

Dipper things he's a nice guy until Mabel shows up messing everything up. (bitch). Bill slowly starts to fall in love with the young teen and Dipper starts to fall for the demon as well.
