When Macloud gets lots and ends up in the air space of the United states of America, he gets shot down and found by the U.S Navy's best air force pilot Maverick. ( disclaimer in this book earth is not full of humans, but furries so Maverick is a dark navy blue with white stripes fox) this is fan fiction.
