Elena had given up on life, if that was even the right word to describe her state of existence. Raised a slave, Elena did not know much of the world except for hatred, anger, and the punishment from a whip. She never really expected to run away, and when she finally did, she never thought that she would get far and welcomed death with open arms.
Now bound to the man who bought her freedom, she joins his crew of misfit pirates. As soon as she stepped foot onto the ship, troubles and miracles began happening. To the crew she was laughable, to some pirates she was a taboo, to herself she was a mistake.
