The frosty, wispy autumn clouds remained in the starless and inky canvas of the night sky while the slight gusts of wind brought the scent of withered roses to Vincent as he carefully listened to the melody of London's downpour. Never would he have ever thought that the same warm, solacing sky he was used to gazing upon in his primal youth would be the same sky that would be his harsh, cold, lonely sky of eternity.

A CANON BACKSTORY from DUTP Story: Shadows of London. This book is meant to be written as a backstory that I've created and what I thought would suit for the Vincent Savile character. So some spoilers ahead. - I'm not calling him Oliver, so let's pretend he's always been "Vincent".
Another Note: The only characters I don't "own" are Vincent and Hawke. Some parts of the plot and indications do root from the SoL story however, EVERYTHING ELSE IS MINE.
