Alex Gaskarth and Layne Ulter had that relationship everyone wanted. They never fought, they never argued. That was until Alex met someone in the school corridors the day his girlfriend was away. Jack Barakat.
Jack wasn't one to show his feelings. Because of this he got bullied quite a lot at school and was forced to move. On his first day he saw the perfect couple and wanted (like most people) to be like them. On his second day only one was there. The guy came up to him that day. His name was Alex.
Layne doesn't know what's going on once this begins after a rumor spreads that she cheated on him. They both knew the rumor was false yet Alex's reactions to another boy strike her as unusual. She just thinks he was being kind like usual. Little did she know that Alex was slowly growing a slight affection for this other boy.
Jack is slowly tearing apart Alex and Layne's perfect relationship. He doesn't see it. He doesn't see Alex's actions are because he secretly likes him....He doesn't even notice his heart feeling things. If only he could.......what would happen then?

What does she have that I don't? Alex tried to talk to me, but I ignored him and walked off. "Good luck man, when she's pissed, she doesn't stop being pissed for a few days." High school was hard, but college is even harder. Jack's coping with his break up while also balancing all his classes and it's actually quite hard for him to keep up. But he has to study and keep his grades up to keep his scholarship. This was not what he had in mind at all when planning for college, but this was the hand he was given.
