The halls are unnervingly silent, Biana brushes off the unsettling feeling and continues. She enters the garden and looks around for her blonde-haired love. A twig snaps behind her and a smile finds its way onto her face.

Marella Redek has worked for the Sencen family for as long as she can remember. Her whole family has,. When her mother fell ill she had to take over all of her duties. There has always been something wrong with her, but that feeling get's harder to ignore when the Vackers come to stay for the summer.
Biana Vacker is a part of a pristine royal family, she is betrothed to Keefe Sencen, set to marry him at the end of the summer. There have been attacks from a rebel group all around the land. Everything changes when she spends more and more time at the Sencen Castle.

Devastated would be an ample word to describe how I felt after losing this story. I thought about rewriting it, but had the thought- why fix something that wasn't broken? Hedge's telling of it was a masterpiece. Ultimately, I caved. I missed the characters too much and there's something about this story that makes me feel like myself again, so, here we are. After getting permission from Hedge✔️ and scouring the internet for any lost bits of his writing✔️ I began the rendition. Hedge left while his story was still unfinished, so chapters 1-21 are entirely his, and I'll be continuing and finishing the book (and series) beyond that. My dream for this book would to be to edit/finish it and hand off the polished, completed version back to Hedge to publish. The literary community is too starved for lgbt representation, especially in the girl/girl department, and this book is like a lifeline. Thanks guys!!Complete
