Years ago there was a mysterious murder. A young girl surrounded by animals all drained of their blood. The only thing they all had in common was the puncture wounds on their necks. Fast forward to the present day a pair of twins are in high school. One is a vampire with a blank space where her childhood memories should be and the other is a werewolf who wishes he was anything else. In between dealing with the secrets and dynamics of being a werewolf, the totally not cliche grudge between the vamps and werewolves, being the potential next murder victim of a mysterious and possibly non-human killer, and a hottie with fangs that she sometimes kind of wanted to make out with and other times wanted to rip his throat out, Lila was definitely going to have a totally normal, average life in this new town.
