The Splendor Behind The Darkness

Sedang Ditulis "Prepare yourself, Victor," I said, my voice as cold as ice. "We're starting the war."
Victor's gaze snapped to me in shock. "What do you mean, starting the war, Elara?"
"I don't believe in fighting from the shadows," I answered firmly. "Guards, spread the word across all realms-The White Goddess has returned after centuries to claim her vengeance."
Dark energy coiled around Victor as his voice took on a dangerous edge. "Elara, you're not thinking. This is a reckless decision. Get some rest, clear your head. You'll see how absurd this is."
"I've made up my mind, Victor," I insisted, my voice unwavering. "No matter what you say, I won't change it. Even if you stand against me."
Disappointment flickered across his face. The darkness around him thickened, his tone turning even more menacing. "Don't force me to stand in your way, Elara. You don't want that."
I hesitated for a moment. Doubt crept onto my face, but I refused to let it show. Victor-the one who had stood by my side through every decision, who had supported me through everything-was now standing against me.
"Victor, I won't back down."
A storm raged inside me. The man who had always erased my pain, who had shielded me from everything that hurt, was now the one hurting me the most.
Victor's eyes narrowed. "Is starting this war more important than having me by your side?"
"It's not-"
He raised a hand, cutting me off. "Do whatever you want," he said, his voice now completely devoid of warmth. "But remember this-from now on, I am not beside you. I am against you."
Then he turned and disappeared into the darkness.
My hands started to tremble. "Damn it..." I whispered. As tears slipped from my eyes, everything around me began to shatter.
Aeris rushed toward me in alarm. "Elara, are you okay? Get a hold of yourself!"
The others stormed into the room, trying to calm me down.
"He's gone..." I whispered. "Victor... is gone."
Those were my last words.
