the best of my poems I've written during the years 2017-2021, (all from the original Poems book), revised, edited, and occasionally renamed - and when I say best, I don't mean good, so...
go read my other poetry - the ones with actual titles. cataclysmic is comprised of poems inspired by (but generally drastically different from) the poems from this collection. there's a fair bit of rhyming in this one though, and it's not too bad - if you're into that.

You know....when you first hear that fast beating heartbeat.... everything else melts away, the stress of finding out you're pregnant at 16, your boyfriend ghosting you after you showed him the test, your parents abandoning you when you need them most.....it all goes away and you finally found what you been looking for all along....unconditional love and that's exactly what I felt towards you my love...my sun flower...my baby......God gave me 2 years to be your mother and now the memories hurt......love I am so sorry mommies coming. Dani Winters was on her way home from her friends house, listening to her son talk random things when suddenly a car came out of nowhere and rammed the side of her car, she slowly opened her eyes only to groan out a gasp and tried to turn to check on Tommy.....only to let out an agonizing scream after and lost consciousness. The doctors tried to save her, she came back a few times but she didn't want to....she didn't want to live in a world without her son....they fought to bring her back....well she fought to stay dead, so what happens when the next time she wakes she's in a coffin wearing a 20s dress and having the most hungry inducing thirst.....and her only thought 'It hurts.' Warning this will have discussions about suicidal thoughts/actions, death of a child, depression, blood, gore, murder, etc⚠️⚠️⚠️

Falling Apart

A life where she doesn't get taunted and hit and torn apart by everyone who she has ever seen. But she would never swap, she doesn't want anyone to endure the pain she's gone through. So instead, she tries to get rid of it... Again. But much to her disbelief, she is saved by the people she would least expect. She learns secrets about them that no one else knows. She feels included. Cared for. And dare I say it... She felt loved. For once in her life, she felt truly happy to be alive. But just when Amber felt safe, her life was flipped upside down and her past came back to haunt her just when she least expected it... In these pages, the world is both light and heavy-sometimes in the same breath. This is a catch-call collection of my own poetry, prose and/or lyrics that I've accumulated over the years that I related to and enjoyed writing and re-writing. I don't know, I just hope you enjoy them or find some comfort in them as well. :) Also, possibly relevant, I'm queer, autistic/adhd and very traumatized so if you relate, you might, like idk, relate to these maybe or they may be a little too real??
I Fell in Love with a Bad Boy
CRINGE WARNING! First book I ever wrote on here!! -- "Sometimes the person who you are willing to take a bullet for is the person behind the gun." I stood peering over the cold lifeless body that lay before my eyes. I had always thought of death the enemy, but right now, I blessed it upon the person who is now at peace. Sometimes you don't need to be the smartest, or the fastest, but you do need to be wisest. They say the blood runs deeper than water, and I believe it, because even though the people that we love can turn on us and begin to hate us, they are only human, meaning that soon they will begin to see how short life really is and how it is not to be wasted. People who seem perfect and they look like they have no floors'; they are the people who are suffering, like I was. But I found my savior in the most uncommon place. He was able to look through my mask, he saw the cracks, and tried to fix the broken girl that hid away deep inside the girl who only wanted to be seen as 'fine'. I slowly began to find comfort and safety in him, and I did the same to him. We were two broken people becoming whole. Someone once said when you pass, if you can count your true friends on one hand you are beyond lucky, and I even though I did not like the person that lay before me, I know that he once had true friends, including me. I'm a 17 year old girl who has suffered more than any other, beginning to believe that 'Hope' was just another word the people throw around. Until I fell in love with a badboy. Blaine's Opportunity
TRIGGER WARNING ⚠️ MENTIONS OF Rape, family abuse and suicidal thoughts. Do not read if this may trigger you. The story isn't all depressing but there are certain family situations brought up. It's a good read, enjoy. "It's ok, Blaine. I promise." I whispered into her ear. Her strong arms wrapped me so tightly. I felt so warm and safe... it's weird how calm everything felt in this moment. I hear her sniffle. "I... don't wanna go back." She whispered. I rubbed her back. "You don't have to if you don't want to I promise. You can stay as long as you want." I whispered back. ------ Blaine Jarome was known for the attitude and anger issues. She was considered a problem child in her school, aggressive at work and in and out the hospital for injuries she never explained how she got. She only had two friends who always worried about her and she lived with two drug addicted foster parents that bought drugs from her. She's nineteen trying to finish her second last year of high school. No one dared to even intervene when she was mad... but the new girl? Well let's just say a big heart goes a long way. Sara gives Blaine an opportunity to do better and try harder. She tries to help her see her potential and see that she is great. The only thing is, will Blaine except the opportunity she's been given.Complete
