Since the doctor declared my mother's sickness, I knew our lives were only going down hill from there. We didn't have the money to pay for what she needed. We didn't have the insurance. We had nothing. We didn't even have time.
Lost and confused, Haley knew she had only one choice then, and that was to fight for the only family she had. Only she didn't know until now how literal the word 'fight' ment. It's moments like these that make me feel like my soul is entangled with his.
