"Paper! Get the paper! Hot off the press! War news!"
I cringed at the volume of the young boy, hurrying to hand him a nickel so I could escape his vocal chords. I don't blame him for being so loud, you can barely hear anything over the cars and yelling sailors in New York.
"More young men are sent to Europe, Hitler advances, what's new?" I grumbled at the rather repetitive news. Human news articles were usually more chaotic but lately they've only been allowed to print the same things. I only came to Earth because of the war but it seems to be a bust.
"Well, we have been able to push the Germans back in Africa," I looked up from the paper to see a rather small and sickly looking man, "page 4, the name's Steve, Steve Rogers." He reached his rather small and shaky hand towards me.
"Aggie, nice to meet you Steve," I took his icy hand in mine, his firm grip shocked me, he didn't look like he had the energy to lift a spoon, "thanks for the tip."
"It's nice to meet you too, Aggie, where ya headin' this morning?"

He frowns and almost immediately says "of course not" still very quietly. You give him a reassuring smile and say "Then I'm not worried." he finally looks up at you and gives you a small smile. - This was my first story so I'm sorry if the writing is not too good, I got better I promise. The curtain around the hospital bed slides open to reveal an African American man with warm eyes. He walks in with an easy smile and a white man steps in just behind him with dark blue eyes and near black brown waves that fall to his shoulders. The man behind him catches my eye, his eyes a bright blue with a crown of golden hair. Our eyes meet and his crystal blue ones widen. Déjà vu hits me like a truck and my mind bounces back to a fuzzy night a couple of months ago full of hard liquor. The cold water dripped inside on my cell, as the droplets hit my bare back, I could only shudder from the feel. I knew he would be back any given minute. He had another PR meeting with his team, Captain America, what a joke. If only they really knew who he was. A monster that Hydra cooked up. I could hear the other man groaning, they had started pumping him with more super soldier serum to keep him alive, but his body was rejecting it. Whenever I was able to, I would sneak off to the corner of my cell and talk to him, he would never respond, but I had a feeling it comforted him knowing I was here for him. Like I had a choice. Where could I go? I couldn't remember who I was, not strong enough to fight off Steve, or smart enough to get myself out.
