"Paper! Get the paper! Hot off the press! War news!"

I cringed at the volume of the young boy, hurrying to hand him a nickel so I could escape his vocal chords. I don't blame him for being so loud, you can barely hear anything over the cars and yelling sailors in New York. 

"More young men are sent to Europe, Hitler advances, what's new?" I grumbled at the rather repetitive news. Human news articles were usually more chaotic but lately they've only been allowed to print the same things. I only came to Earth because of the war but it seems to be a bust.

"Well, we have been able to push the Germans back in Africa," I looked up from the paper to see a rather small and sickly looking man, "page 4, the name's Steve, Steve Rogers." He reached his rather small and shaky hand towards me. 

"Aggie, nice to meet you Steve," I took his icy hand in mine, his firm grip shocked me, he didn't look like he had the energy to lift a spoon, "thanks for the tip."

Steve says taking in the scenery around him. "Captain America or Steve Rogers?" I smile at him. "Steve Rogers."
