Not even when his idol told him that his dream was illogical--that in reality he will only get in the way. So he made a set of recordings and set up an anonymous channel. He approached many people and asked them variants of the same question: "Can a quirkless person become a hero?" No matter the answer though, he was broken inside. People theorize that the reason behind the disappearance of the hero's quirks is because of his own quirk but in reality, it's just because of the drug that he invented. He sometimes purposely mess up during his operations when he's handling a patient that is a hero making them paralyzed or in best cases dead.
