Only for, later on, the boy who he was supposed to marry comes back as a man. Wen Kexing is once more upset. Until he's not.

Wen Kexing died on the mountain. The now immortal Zhou Zishu was left in that cold armory all by himself...until a thousand years later, a man appeared on the mountain who looked exactly like Wen Kexing. A canon divergence/alternate universe where Wen Kexing reincarnated into Gong Jun, but Zhou Zishu remained the same as he was in the past.
