Wei Ying become a mysterious mask man, he doesn't want anyone know that he is Wei Ying courtesy Wei Wuxian. He help the cultivator from the shadow, he help them win the war against Wen Rouhan. Wei Ying won't let those clan know that it was him who helped them. This story will go farther into the end of the series, where Nie Mingjue won't die he was save by Wei Ying.
