this story is about mason, he's about from a small down in Washington , in 1982 , he's trying to find himself and his place in this world , he's had so many things happen to him in the past two years he's just ready to heal from it , So his parents send him to Arkansas with her mother Janet who is a laid back pre era hippie , who wants to help her grandson learn the facts of life , But while he's on his "spiritual journey" He meets this boy who helps him be able to heal from his pain. They end up changing each other point of view of themselves and they end up falling for one another in the process. but they both know good things will come always come to an end.

The ML grows on you, even the annoying puff of smoke becomes endearing. It's written as a journal, so the ML only knows what you know as he writes each chapter. Tim never foresaw where the events were leading him... so far from home, in place and time. He never knew he could live such a BIG life.
