15 year old November "Nova" Montez has always lived a pretty good life with her mother, two sisters and Forbes worthy step-father, Marcus Kennedy. Nova has always been the most sarcastic and cynical yet down to earth one in her family. She had perfect grades, always mandaged to avoid trouble and was beyond modest. But when her family moves to Riverton, where her best friend lives, she finds herself dropped into a world wind of life alterting decisions. Especially when she meets trouble-maker Ryder Powers. "You don't know us."
"I don't want to. I don't wanna know you. Now you're gonna get in your car and leave and don't come back. Because if you do, it's not gonna be good for you."
