Spencer was injured a year ago in college, and right before that, he got with Rochelle Mosley, but when he was injured, she started treating him very badly, because she was in it for the money, not actually for who he is, and then when Spencer bought a cheaper Diamond ring to propose, she revealed that she's been having an affair and breaks up with him, which breaks his heart, because all he wants to do is have someone believe that he could make it, and also a girl to be with him for him. Meanwhile, a similar situation is going on with Olivia Baker, who is also in college, and she is trying to become an author, an active civil rights leader, and a motivational speaker, but things aren't going her way right now, and she's struggling financially, and her boyfriend Aaron Myers was only using her for her fame, but when there's no money involved, he reveals that he's having an affair, and it breaks her heart, and she just wants someone to believe in her dream, and to be with her for her. What happens when Spencer and Olivia meet, and they are immediately attracted to each other. Will their trust issues from past relationships get in the way, or will they take the leap of faith and find true happiness, or when they finally start taking off, and their exes come back to try and get back with them, so many questions, with so much on the line, the main question is, will Spencer and Olivia overcome it all?
