Taking place immediately following the end of Disenchantment: Part 3, Courtship stands in as an alternate Part 4, in which we follow along with the series of events the takes Bean from the pits of Hell to the highs (and lows) of being the Queen of Dreamland. At the heart of this story is the journey shared between Bean and Sir Pendergast, and the romance that begins to bloom between them.

It's hard to believe that Bean used think Pendergast was just another one of her dad's cronies, especially when she begins to realize that there's more to this Dreamland Knight than his eyepatch and chivalrous nature. Both Bean and Pendergast learn what it's like to trust in one another, no matter what tries to get between them: Steamland, dreams, perhaps even dragons.
