The crew of The Eternal Tide is a ragtag group of misfits desperate to fit in. Their Captain is the stubborn, smart and casual con artist Reus Noon who has an on and off relationship with his rival Captain, Dura Piggu. After a pirate's challenge reveals a powerful artifact that could change the world, Dura is determined to find it. But Reus also wants to find it so that he can destroy it so it never harms anyone again. But even he and his crew, the energetic Private Harriet Drown, the cautious and crafty gunner Art Timbers, The Bad Luck magnet of a navigator Cain Booty, The wise and stoic First Mate Ryld T'iom, The quiet and shy Cook Bill De, and the ever happy Janitor Dave, Reus may not have enough to face the crew of the Ocean Butcher. That is until he meets Captain Jasmine Waves and finds The Precious Carrie Jewell.
