Having a shrine dedicated to your dead mother in your grandparents house where you live was weird enough. Having them praise your mom like she was a goddess and curse your dad like he was straight out of hell was even worse.

Look... I didn't want to be a demigod. It wasn't really a choice though, a curse thrown upon her the moment her parents met. Sure it had been rough, gods, monsters and countless other things that wanted to kill her. But there were some parts of it that were so... magical.
