Katniss Everdeen lives a pretty boring life in New York. She lives in a small apartment, has a job at her favorite shop, and has a few friends.
But her life takes a turn when her best friend Annie drags her to a nightclub after work one day, where Katniss meets a charming man named Peeta Mellark. They both get quite drunk, and end up in Peeta's apartment, making drunk love to each other.
Katniss is one night standed, leaving her with the result of being pregnant.
Long years later, Katniss, her daughter Willow, who's 14, and her boyfriend Gale Hawthorne, decide to move from the busy city into the countryside to start a new life.
But dangerous secrets and terrible events lie ahead, but will Katniss be able to raise her little family without interruption from the man she hates?
