And yet, Amber could be the catalyst to setting a series of events that had been prophesied centuries before, into motion, bringing together three more people – the embodiments of the Emblems – to bring magic back to life. But in this underlying world of Adepts, Demons and secrets within secrets, unlocking their potential will be harder than you think. ~^~^~^~^~^ So, this is my 2014 Nanowrimo story, which is basically an attempt to rewrite Phoenix, where it shall go through major changes in plot, characters as well as effects of my new-and-improved writing style. [UNEDITED] In the year of 3204, the people on Earth are at war with aliens from Mars, human-alike beings with supernatural powers. Over the last thousand years however, humans have evolved. Each human now possesses one of the four elements of nature: fire, water, air, earth - earning the name Elemental. To learn how to control the element, they go through training academies, to among other things find their elemental partner. Here's where we meet Breeze, a Junior-Elemental controlling the element of air, still struggling with putting his right emotions when connecting to the element. Taunted by his older brother Rain, and his Elemental partner Ember, the insecurity within takes control of his element. This story takes place in the world of elements with the royal family, where I was the princess. Every member of the royal family should be able to control all four elements- Water, Air, Fire and Earth. The only problem was.... I couldn't. Everyday I would train to unlock the other elements, but to no avail. Things went downhill when I learnt a dark secret about my family. With my rebellious teenage self, I ran away. I was taken on a huge journey with four complete strangers to defeat this random guy who claimed to be just like me! Would I fail or would I succeed? Only time would tell.Complete

Water, shapes us. Fire, transforms us. Air, moves us. Earth, heals us. If these elements were to be taken from the world, it would suffer. Bella, Claire, Lauren, Lizzy, Joshua, Luke, Nick, and Braydon were all just normal teenagers until the universe picked them to be the elements. The girls and the boys will fight to the death in the arena and watch every second of it. But the survivors journey doesn't end just yet, someone is trying to have all of the element to herself. Mixing Elements
The balance of nature is a beautiful thing. Everyone knows that balance is helped by Mother Nature. What people don't know is that there is too much chaos in the world for one person to handle. Mother Nature needed help to keep the balance between humans and nature. She chose four people. Four elements. Fire, air, earth, and water. Four people to help control the world's balance with their element. These four people are chosen from birth. Fire is strong and confident, yet badly tempered. Air is free-spirited, often a dancer who likes gossip. Earth is stubborn and greatly built. A great debater. Water is calm and graceful. If you mess with them though they can be worse than fire. Mother Nature chooses the new generation of elements based on who they are inside from birth. She trains them to use their element in secret. If society knew the elements walked among them the results could be catastrophic. People can belief in someone bigger than themselves, but if they knew what really went on the balance would die. The elements are to tell no one of their powers. The four most often form two couples. Mainly fire with air, and earth with water. The balance naturally is two boys and two girls. This is the story of four talented people who changed the rules, and dealt with the biggest natural chaos of mankind, that mankind never knew.
Element Fairies
I'm the kind of girl who keeps her own secrets. I'm in high school and I still believe fairies....because I believe I am one. I've never had REAL magic but I can control wind spirit, and speak to her. Others believed along with me...but they always end up forgetting, or leaving me because they think it's just a game. I've been by myself since 5th grade. Now the Great Tree said it's time to train four other girls because another girl has taken over the Spirit of Storms. When she does that...I can't control my own powers...the wind spirit. How am I I supposed to get others to believe in fairies and magic when I'm just starting high school.Complete
