Metaphors In The Dancefloor
The walk of adulthood has 3 rules. You can't back out. You have to finish. And most importantly of all, you must survive it. Walking into college is much easier when your past isn't kissing you goodbye. All your life has come up to this. Elementary prepares you for middle school. Middle school teaches you something close to the misery of high school. High school is the last acceptable happiness you will ever have. High school was the preview of college. If you eat all your popcorn in the preview, being in the movies won't reach up to the standards. If your popcorn fell, you're done. If you didn't buy the popcorn, you'll be stealing it from your friend. After all, this is FIU. Most of the people here left their lives back wherever their home was. And God, did she try to keep away from the drama, but when you have a past you don't want nobody to know about like Ruby, consequences find you. Consequences like that move with drama. And what's more, Matthew seems to be very interested in the drama... as well as her. What exactly was she running from? How did her past find her? What were the consequences? Is she justified? ☁️ | wander through my thoughts. all my experiences, realizations, decisions, vibes...attempted to be placed into rhythmic tone as a summary of my life. I hope for this to become a place of comfort for anyone who needs it. Poetry is a beautiful way to put whatever's on one's mind into words, especially for someone like me who's not so great at expressing so upfront. I want this to a place where we can all find instances of clarity knowing we all think, feel, and experience the same, maybe not exactly the same but somewhat. Not Me, Not You, But Us
In the complex world of relationships, when two people face their own challenges and pain, the only way to progress and find peace is to become a team. Not "you" and not "me", but "we". Art and Beam, Pim and Oat, four people, each struggling with their own problems on their own path, must learn that in order to continue living together and find meaning in love, they must stand together and rely on each other. Can these four people become "we" in the face of the challenges and doubts in their hearts? Does true love only find meaning in being together and supporting each other? COMPLETED✅ Two high school teenagers finding themselves, analyzing this ever changing world, and building love. This is the type of love you wish you found in high school but probably know way too well that it only exists as fiction. Today I'm turning my fiction to reality. ❣️•••❣️ Excerpt: Just as I was about to seek shelter under some building's roof, the tires of a car come to a halt, I wonder who might pity the lonely girl walking in the rain. The passenger window rolls down, and I spot the most unexpected person seated behind the wheel. "Get in" comes out his voice, and I must've stood there agape for a few moments because next comes his rhetorical question. "Are you getting in or continuing walking in the rain?" Eyebrows raised expectantly.
