"And where exactly were you when I needed to hear that, huh ? Where?" Tears formed in her own eyes as she look down at me. Anger and sadness were both visible in her eyes.

"I... I was afraid, okay? The fact of losing you was unbearable...I guess hearing something so often leads you into believing it doesn't it?" I looked up at her to see something that I've never seen before, she was at a lost for words. I sent her a crooked smile blinking away my own tears that threatened to spill.
