Book 1 in the Were series (sorry I'm bad at names)

Christopher and his father escape from his abusive mother only to get lost in a forest. He comes across a wolf pack, only for them to be taken in.

Jackson happens to be a part of the Apollo pack, the Alpha at that. He was alarmed of intruders in his territory, only to learn that one is his mate, and they take them in.

WARNING

This book is bxm or mxb, so if you don't like that then this is not the book for you.

There are also some sex scenes, throughout the book. I try to keep a story, but I write smut, so deal with it.

Also, there are descriptions of abuse and sexual abuse, so be wary of that.

Also, please don't get mad at me for writing about an abusive mother against her son and the father! They exist! And sorry for bringing up the dead little girl, but it's important to the story.

Welp, that's all, so I'll be going until next time.

ward (w•oar•d) transitive verb. to keep watch over : guard ﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏ Jackson Ward is next in line to take over as Alpha for his pack, the Sylvan Ash Pack. He has a reputation for being strong, iron-willed, and intimidating. He is an only child who lives under the thumb of his oppressive, overbearing, and closed-minded father, Cyrus Ward. He is constantly being forcefully molded into his father's idea of the perfect Alpha for their pack. Deep down, Jackson longs for the day that he will meet his mate. He will rule over his pack freely with his perfect Luna by his side. He will love, cherish, and protect them as long as he has breath in his lungs. No one will harm them as long as he is their mate. Or so he thought. Benjamin Stirling is a small, shy, and quiet omega. He has lived in the orphanage since the gruesome death of his parents, when he was 5 years old. 13 years later, he regularly dreams of finding his mate. The one who will rescue him, protect him, and quiet his anxious thoughts. But it is just that; a dream. Benjamin knows he will be rejected as soon as his mate finds him. Who would want a frail, useless, omega as a mate? Right? Right? What will happen when Jackson and Benjamin cross paths? Will their all too rare same sex relationship be accepted? What happens when the cruel, powerful Alpha Cyrus Ward finds out his son is not only secretly mated, but mated to a male omega? Follow Jackson and Benjamin as they experience heartache, unspeakable joy, tragedy, and unexpected surprises. It won't be easy. But Jackson Ward will be damned if he lets anyone get between him and his mate. This story is mature. Please do not read if you are under 18. Date: 9/12/24 To whom ends up finding this, My Alpha isn't the kindest or most sympathetic wolf... I'm kept in the dark, quite literally. I'm merely an Omega which makes me the lowest on the totem pole. Us Omega's, at least in the Warrior Star pack, are basically locked up, away from the rest. I've spent my whole life in the dark with the other Omega's who are deemed NOT useful to the pack. I wish to leave this place and start a new life. Maybe find my mate. If the Moon Goddess even so graciously decided to give me one. Sigh. A boy can only dream... -Mel
