The tower of fate is in shambles, and the order of no quarter has been defeated. Shovel knight has finally reunited with his lover shield knight, plague knight has been knighted and specter knight is at last free of his eternal contract of servitude to the enchantress. All seems well, but not everything is always as it seems. an ancient, twisted evil, thought destroyed once again threatens the land, and now its up to shovel knight and his new allies to to save the land once again and defy fate one more time.
