A gunshot fires. She sees the crimson form a red smear across his chest.

Three boys come rushing in.
"Reyna."
The first one says as he tugs at her arm.
"Reyna, c'mon. We gave to go."

The second puts his hand on her shoulder as the first starts to pull her away. She reluctantly follows.
"He's gone."
Her chest tightens at those words and as they make it down the front steps, she turns to run back...
