Athena failed miserably in her past life. Her father, Zeus, was the king of the glorious Olympus. There was a tradition there. The heir is chosen in quite a particular way. The children of Zeus fight to the death for it no matter how old they are during their whole life.

They were all suppose to showdown once the very last of them reaches adulthood, but 'accidents' happen. Athena didn't even last till then despite being a principal pillar of support to the empire. She was strong, but strength and mind sometimes do not matter when the cause of your death was betrayal.

Upon her unholy death, she was given the choice to go back to the moment she was born and fix it all. Not only to right all the wrong, but perhaps having a peek on what a good life would also look. After all, she's no longer just the queen of someone else's chess game. She's now the player.

Pulling together her allies and former enemies, she forges her own path to victory and navigates the relationships of other people as well.

Persephone Incarnate [Wattpad Prize 2014] | ✔️ de wishuponajinni
36 Partes Concluida
[COMPLETED - ONLY MINORLY EDITED] ******************************************************** Greek myths - true or false? They should be false, and to 16-year-old Sophie Claire, it's never crossed her mind that they aren't. Until one day in History class when her teacher spends a day on Greek mythology and something strange starts happening - her friends and classmates begin to tell myths about certain Greek deities with frightening precision. And for some reason, she's began to feel a certain affinity for Persephone, the Greek maiden who was kidnapped by Hades, the Lord of the Underworld, and forced into a marriage with him. This isn't some coincidence or freak dream, she later finds out from a host of strange individuals who claim they're from Olympus, the grandoise home of the gods themselves. She is actually a modern reincarnation of the goddess Persephone, and she's not the only one. A few of her classmates also happen to represent the gods and goddesses from popular Greek myths, and the fact that all of them are present means that something monumental is about to happen. Something like being the girl to change Persephone's future, to break the cycle of kidnapper and victim - all by passing a trial. It won't be simple, she knows, and she's not quite that eager to take it up, but from the moment she found out that she was Persephone, there was no way to back out. She should've known, however, that dealing with all powerful, immortal deities wasn't going to be easy. They've got a few secrets and personality flaws up their sleeves, and they could be deadly. More than deadly - murderous.

A goddess is taken to the underworld as the king's bride; her father knew everything and her mother knew nothing. In this retelling of the Hymn of Demeter, mother and daughter will do whatever it takes to free themselves, no matter the cost. Book I of The Triple Moons' Chronicles * Up in the sky, in a world between myths and lies, lives a daughter caged on an island. She is Persephone. The beautiful Persephone, whom every Olympian god wants to marry-they all want her beauty to conceal their ugliest secrets, but only Hades manages to take her to his realm. He dwells below the earth, across the river Styx, between Tartarus and the Isle of Blest. No mortals can see his forbidden land until they pass away. Forced into marriage by her father Zeus, Persephone would resign from her fate. But when her grieving mother, Demeter, comes close to killing all the mortals, Zeus orders her back to her homeland. Given and returned against her will, Persephone takes charge of her life and eats six pomegranate seeds before leaving. Food from the underworld can't be eaten as it will tie one to the land. As her decision pushes her closer together and apart from her loved ones, Persephone's destiny turns worse. Only she may have the power to change her world for the better. *** CW: While written in a lyrical style, this story is advised for mature audiences only. thank you for 61k reads 🙏 "I dare you to ask Poseidon out." That was too much for Athena. But if she doesn't do it... eternal annoyance from Aphrodite. She really would rather go out with the person she hates most than have stupid make-up on every day. "I'll do it." Athena surprised herself for saying so. But there's no turning back. "Poseidon..." (I do not own the gods, they are from Greek Mythology. I also do not own Percy Jackson or any other PJO characters mentioned, they belong to the all mighty Uncle Rick Riordan. If you haven't read Percy Jackson yet, GET OUTTA HERE lol just kidding I ain't that mean) YAYAYAYAYAYAY WE HIT 4K READS GUYS! This is crazy awesome. Hope this story can soar even higher.
