The year is 1883, but not of the world you are thinking of. The Great War had just ended after a century of bloodshed, leaving the planet of Cradia in ruins as its inhabitants; the Ainisians struggled to restore the world back to its former, lush green state.
We follow Frieda, a well-known general in the LCC, conscripted to fight at a young age as an infantryman, now still in active service as the highest-ranking commander within the Ainisian Forces. Now tasked with leading a part of her Nation's army into battle as they explore the lands beyond beyond what they call The Gate, a mysterious portal to another realm, that had appeared within their capital's grounds.

Suddenly, the nation's capital is under attack by a medieval-style army and creatures only seen in fantasy stories. This mysterious army, however, soon realizes that they stepped on the dragon's tail. This story is based off the anime/manga series, Gate, but follows a different storyline and characters. I do not own Gate, but the story and characters in this story are mine.

The 8 leaders have agreed on a new law that states, "Every eligible candidate from the ages 10-25 shall report to the country of Eualia for a special training against the Demons ." The law spreads around quickly, but when finally arriving in the country of Zenonius, Lisanna Selverine decides to ignore the law to stay home to take care of her old and sick father. That leads to an attack from and Elf and Golems, the Elf General Sentire then uses threatening against Lisanna, and she is confiscated to go to Camp Demon Hunt.Complete
