Italy before WW2 broke out, started building the Vittorio Veneto-class of battleships with a planned successor class designated U.P. 41, further development of the project led to the creation of the U.P. 42 which was essentially a enlarged version of both the Vittorio Veneto and U.P. 41 ships respectively. The sole and lead-ship of her class: 'Francesco Giuliani' was built in the late 30's, before finally being commissioned just 5 days before the Armistice of Cassibile was signed on September 3rd, 1943, some of the remaining Regia Marina ships afterwards were ordered to quickly retreat to North Africa as soon as possible, but Francesco Giuliani was one of those unfortunate victims that got sunk mid-way through her journey by Fritz X bombs dropped from German He-177 A-5's, due to knowledge of what she was capable of should she fight the Kriegsmarine ships. But what they didn't know was that after being sunk, the ship was then teleported and given a second chance in a world where warships just like her were turned into girls, will she finally get the chance to prove herself? Or will she suffer the same fate once more?
