Jayda, a smart, no-nonsense lesbian finds herself in difficulty when she wakes up one morning with only a vague drunken recollection of what had happened the night before. She had bought a coffee shop to prove a point to a member of her business class.

They learn about the city and each other, but can someone of that nature really intertwine into Miami's livelihood? Gossip and reminisce can only do so much for a woman. A lesson for her: books and science will only give her outlines in her plans, rather than reasons.
