A group known as the Eight Deadly Sins and their close ally were framed for the murder of the Grandmaster of Liones. Meliodas, the leader of the Eight Deadly Sins, and his sister, Rosanna, stayed together as the group temporarily disbanded and went into hiding. Meliodas and Rosanna opened up a travelling tavern with their new friend Hawk, a talking pig, and his giant mother who carries on the tavern on her back.

As the tavern travels Meliodas searches for the wife he lost after the incident at Liones, Desirae, the one he calls his equal in every aspect. She separated herself from him in order to keep the siblings together but ended up being captured and tortured daily by a group of Holy Knights.

Princess Elizabeth found her way to the Boar Hat and Meliodas and Rosanna offered her their help to find the Eight Deadly Sins and take back the kingdom after King Bartra had been betrayed by those he trusted the most. Will the Eight Deadly Sins gather together to help protect Liones?
