Across the street, amid the heavy sprays of rain and parked delivery trucks at a gas station sat a petite tattoo parlour with it neon logo above flickering. At a distance, a young man dressed in all black laughed, his hair sitting perfectly plastered to his forehead, his smile as radiant as the sun sat in the INKBED. From here, you couldn't tell if he was genuinely happy or covering it up when he looked out the stores window straight at me, it was like his mood changed entirely - but now wasn't the time for it, but it's where it all started.
